PERFUMARIĒ, the ACADEMY of PERFUMERY & AROMATICS®*, & the OSMOTHEQUE® INTERNATIONAL FRAGRANCE ARCHIVES are pleased to present an interactive olfactory encounter with Academy Founder, Osmocurator, & Master Perfumer CHRISTOPHE LAUDAMIEL in PERFUME, THE STORY OF A MURDERER (Süskind/Tykwer) on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd 2017, 6pm-8pm at PERFUMARIĒ.
In this interactive experience, we will explore historical moments related to an important period in the history of perfumery by traveling through different scenes in this iconic book and movie together. We'll visit the streets of 1738 Paris, a tannery, smell through real historical colognes, then track through a mountain den and into an orgy. You will experience key ingredients with us in their natural pure forms, a true privilege as many scents that you will smell no longer exist in our world... They have only been preserved thanks to the work of the International Osmotheque® Archives in Versailles, France.
$85/person; $65 with Student ID. The majority of the proceeds will support the Osmotheque and the Academy*, two non-profit organizations run exclusively by perfumer volunteers. Each ticket includes refreshments, pâtisserie, and a complimentary 12ml sample of Volatile Marilyn No15 by Christophe Laudamiel.
Space is EXTREMELY LIMITED. Your ticket is required for admission.
