Spring Session: Intro to Perfumery, Masterclass with Mindy Yang

Learn about perfumery via a virtual masterclass with renowned sensory expert Mindy Yang.

In this comprehensive and immersive series of 5 online sessions, you will smell through a kit of fragrance raw materials, natural oils, and perfume accords. With Ms. Yang as your technical director and guide, you will create a scent at the end of this multi-part series.

Note:

• This Masterclass is designed for all levels.
• Enrollment closes on 3/5. 
• Sessions are on Saturdays, from 11 Am to Noon EST.

• March 25th: Intro to Perfumery
• April 1st: Olfactive Vocabulary & Classifications
• April 8th: Naturals vs. Synthetic
• April 15th: Creating Your Scent
• April 22nd: Fragrance Applications & The Future of Scent

The following is included with enrollment:

• A perfume materials kit ($500 Retail Value)
• A PDF Reference Book
• All class materials to create a final bespoke perfume of your own
  (Blotters, Pipettes, Perfume bottles, etc.; $250 Retail Value)
• A certificate of completion
• Each session will be recorded for students that miss live classes, available by request. 

• More advanced classes will be offered this summer for students that wish to continue on this sensory journey.
