Beautiful vintage miniature ladies face powder compact signed St Denis New York circa 1930s.

  • 1 1/2 inches square x 3/8 inch thick
  • Original signed puff, stiff/used
  • Original sifter screen, stiff/used, mottling as if once exposed to moisture
  • Powder residue present
  • Brass raised Coat of Arms on lid, lions and a shield
  • Signed on the front clasp edge, St Denis New York
  • Small starburst on exterior base centre
  • Brass case (non-magnetic) Mirror clear, clasp works well
  • No discolouration, no wear, no chips, no scuffs to white enamel
  • No wear on brass exterior surface edging St Denis was a small French cosmetics house with a branch at 452 Fifth Avenue New York.
  • St Denis was better known for bath salts and powders, but did retail some compacts in their line
